First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether removing the kidney tumor before or after immunotherapy works better for people with advanced kidney cancer that has spread. About 172 adults will be randomly assigned to have surgery first then immunotherapy, or immunotherapy first then surgery. Researchers will track survival, side effects, and quality of life over 15 months to find the best treatment order.
