Precision radiation aims to spare healthy kidney in cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07402109
Summary
This study is testing a new, more precise radiation technique to treat kidney tumors. The goal is to deliver radiation that destroys the tumor while minimizing damage to the healthy part of the kidney, which could help preserve kidney function. The research will enroll 40 patients with non-metastatic kidney cancer to see if using advanced imaging during treatment makes this precision possible.
