Radiation seeds target inoperable kidney tumors in new trial
NCT ID NCT04473781
Summary
This study is testing a type of internal radiation therapy for kidney cancer tumors that are too large or difficult to remove with surgery. Doctors temporarily place tiny radiation sources directly into the tumor to try to stop its growth. The research aims to see if this approach is safe and effective for patients who can't have standard surgical treatments.
