New study aims to sharpen kidney cancer treatment choices

Summary

This study is looking for better ways to decide on treatment for small kidney tumors (up to 4 cm). Researchers will combine MRI scans with detailed analysis of tumor tissue samples to see if they can predict which tumors are aggressive. The goal is to help doctors choose the best treatment for each patient. The study is currently recruiting 50 adults who are scheduled for kidney surgery.
