New drug duo tested for Tough-to-Treat kidney cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether combining two drugs, abemaciclib and cabozantinib, is safe and effective for people with advanced kidney cancer that has spread and has stopped responding to standard treatments. Researchers will first find the safest dose and then see how well the combination works to control the cancer. The study is for adults whose cancer has worsened after at least two prior treatments, including immunotherapy.
