First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving a combination of two drugs (axitinib and a PD-1 antibody) before surgery can help prevent kidney cancer from coming back. About 298 patients with high-risk kidney cancer will either receive the drug combo before surgery or have surgery alone. The goal is to see if the combo improves how long patients stay cancer-free after treatment.
