Summary

This study looked at whether ketotifen, a medicine usually used for allergies, is safe and helpful for people with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) who do not have cirrhosis. The trial included 60 adults diagnosed with NAFLD. Researchers measured improvements in liver scarring and inflammatory markers to see if the drug could control the disease.
