Summary
This study tested the allergy medicine ketotifen in 60 adults with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) who did not have cirrhosis. The goal was to see if it could safely improve liver scarring and reduce inflammation. Researchers measured changes in fibrosis stage and inflammatory markers in the blood.
