Finding the right dose: study tests pain relief options for new moms after C-Section
NCT ID NCT05248984
Summary
This study aimed to find the best dose of the pain medication ketorolac for women recovering from cesarean delivery. Researchers compared whether a 30mg or 60mg dose given right after surgery better reduced the need for opioid painkillers in the first 24 hours. The trial involved 92 participants who received one of the two doses, with researchers tracking their pain levels and medication use.
