NCT ID NCT07224282

First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This early study tests whether a ketone supplement taken with carbohydrates helps trained cyclists ride longer before getting tired, compared to carbohydrates alone. Fifteen healthy cyclists aged 18-55 will do intense cycling tests while having their blood lactate, glucose, and ketones measured. The goal is to see if the ketone drink improves endurance and lowers lactate levels.
