Summary
This study tests whether a ketone supplement drink can reduce withdrawal symptoms in people with alcohol use disorder during a 4-day detox. Thirty adults will receive either the ketone drink or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the supplement lowers the amount of benzodiazepine medication needed to manage withdrawal.
