Can a week of keto help spot hidden lung cancer?
NCT ID NCT07479095
Summary
This study is testing if following a special low-carb, high-fat (ketogenic) diet for one week before a PET scan can help doctors more accurately spot a specific type of lung cancer. It will involve about 30 adults who have a suspicious lung nodule. The goal is to see if this diet makes the cancer 'light up' better on the scan, reducing the chance of a missed diagnosis.
