Summary
This study is testing whether following a modified ketogenic diet (a high-fat, low-carb eating plan) can help people with alcohol use disorder drink less alcohol. Researchers will work with 50 adults currently undergoing standard alcohol withdrawal treatment. Half will receive special diet coaching alongside their usual care, while the other half receives standard care with optional nutrition advice, to see if the diet makes a difference.
