Summary

This study compared two drugs, ketamine and magnesium sulphate, to see which one better reduces pain after minimally invasive gallbladder removal surgery. Researchers studied 78 healthy adults who had this surgery, giving half of them ketamine and half magnesium sulphate during the procedure. They measured patients' pain levels for 24 hours after surgery to determine which medication provided more effective and longer-lasting relief.
