Scientists probe Brain's glutamate system in search for new psychosis treatments
NCT ID NCT05401227
Summary
This study aims to understand brain mechanisms related to psychosis by testing how different doses of ketamine and an experimental drug called TS-134 affect brain activity in healthy volunteers. Researchers will use brain scans to measure changes after participants receive ketamine infusions and take TS-134 or a placebo for four days. The goal is to gather information that could help develop better treatments for conditions like schizophrenia in the future.
