Race against time: can earlier ketamine stop dangerous seizures?
NCT ID NCT07177235
Summary
This study is testing if giving the drug ketamine earlier, along with another sedative, can stop severe, drug-resistant seizures faster. It will involve 50 hospitalized adults whose seizures are not responding to standard medications. The main goal is to see if changing the timing of ketamine administration is a practical approach and helps control seizures more quickly.
