Summary
This study tested whether repeated doses of ketamine, compared to a placebo, could help veterans with PTSD feel better faster while they also received a type of talk therapy called Prolonged Exposure. The trial involved 75 veterans aged 18 to 75 who had a PTSD diagnosis. The goal was to see if ketamine could safely speed up symptom reduction.
