Party drug tested to fight MS exhaustion

NCT ID NCT05378100

Summary

This study is testing whether low doses of ketamine, given through an IV, can reduce the severe fatigue that many people with multiple sclerosis experience. Researchers at Johns Hopkins are comparing ketamine to a placebo in 110 participants to see if it improves energy levels and daily function. The trial uses careful measurements to track changes in fatigue, sleepiness, and mood over time.
