NCT ID NCT07372911
First seen Jan 28, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a custom laser vision correction (PRK) to a standard corneal strengthening procedure (cross-linking) improves eyesight more than the strengthening procedure alone in people with keratoconus. About 50 adults aged 18-40 with mild to moderate keratoconus will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The main goal is to see which approach provides better corrected vision after one year.
