First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at whether an 8-hour training course on kangaroo care (holding a baby skin-to-skin) helps final-year midwifery students improve their knowledge, skills, confidence, and empathy. About 99 students took part, with some receiving the training and others not. The goal was to see if the training makes a difference in how prepared and caring students feel when working with newborns.
