New treatment tested for debilitating cancer drug side effect
NCT ID NCT07196410
Summary
This early-stage study aims to test the safety of an experimental drug called KAN-004 in patients who develop severe diarrhea or colon inflammation as a side effect of their cancer immunotherapy. The trial will enroll 21 adults with solid tumors who developed these symptoms after receiving immune checkpoint inhibitor drugs. Researchers will monitor participants for side effects and determine if KAN-004 is safe enough for further testing.
