New diabetes drug JY09 shows promise in phase 3 trial

Summary
This study tests whether the drug JY09 can help control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes who haven't been able to manage it with diet and exercise alone. About 270 adults will receive either JY09 or a placebo for up to 54 weeks. The main goal is to see if JY09 lowers HbA1c, a key blood sugar measure, after 26 weeks.
