New diabetes drug seeks to lower blood sugar Long-Term

Summary
This study is testing whether a new injectable drug called JY09 is safe and effective at lowering blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. It will involve 270 people whose diabetes is not well managed by diet and exercise alone. Participants will receive either JY09 or a placebo (inactive injection) for over a year to see which works better.
