Summary
This study tested a new medicine called JW0201 in 200 adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar was not well controlled with their current two-drug regimen. Participants received either JW0201 or a placebo added to their existing treatment. The main goal was to see if JW0201 could lower HbA1c (a measure of average blood sugar) more effectively over 24 weeks.
