Jumping for stronger bones: school study tests simple exercise

NCT ID NCT00729378

Summary

This study aimed to see if regular jumping exercises could help young girls build stronger, denser bones during their growth years. It followed about 500 girls in 4th and 6th grades for several years. Some girls did jumping activities at school three times a week, while others did not, so researchers could compare their bone development.
