New filler JTM102 takes on juvederm in Face-Off trial
NCT ID NCT07265778
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new hyaluronic acid filler called JTM102 against the well-known Juvederm VOLUMA for restoring volume in the mid-face area. About 149 adults aged 19 to 65 with mid-face volume loss will receive both fillers on different sides of their face to compare results. The goal is to see if JTM102 is as safe and effective for temporary correction.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
hyaluronic acid filler with lidocaine
What this could lead to
If JTM102 works as well as Juvederm, it could offer another safe option for temporarily restoring mid-face volume.
What could go wrong
This is a pivotal study but still early for this specific filler. Results may not show a clear advantage, and individual results vary. Risks include typical filler side effects like swelling or bruising.
