Tracking young lives after joint replacement surgery

NCT ID NCT04294693

Summary

This study aims to understand how total joint replacement surgery affects the daily function and quality of life of children and young adults. It follows up to 1,000 patients aged 10-25 who received a hip or knee replacement for reasons like side effects from cancer treatment, injury, or birth defects. Researchers are collecting standard health data and using questionnaires to measure pain, mobility, and overall well-being after surgery.
