New injection could break cycle of painful joint bleeding in hemophilia

NCT ID NCT07187661

Summary

This study is testing whether a medication called Bevacizumab, injected directly into an inflamed joint, can reduce the frequency of painful bleeding episodes in people with hemophilia. The treatment aims to interrupt the cycle of inflammation and bleeding that damages joints over time. Researchers will measure changes in bleeding rates, joint health, and inflammation using MRI scans over several months.
