Summary

This study tested a wearable defibrillator called the Jewel P-WCD in 322 adults at high risk for sudden cardiac arrest. The device is designed to automatically deliver a shock to restore normal heart rhythm if a dangerous heart rhythm occurs. The main goals were to see how often the device gave unnecessary shocks and how well the skin tolerated the device.
