Experimental cell therapy injected into eyes to fight blinding disease

Summary
This study is testing the safety of a single injection of an experimental cell therapy called jCell into the eye of adults with retinitis pigmentosa (RP), a genetic eye disease that causes vision loss. Over 60 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real injection or a sham (pretend) procedure. Researchers will monitor for side effects and check if the treatment improves vision or quality of life over six months.
