Surgeons test new tool to make jaw surgery safer

NCT ID NCT07104656

Summary

This study aims to compare two different surgical techniques used during corrective jaw surgery. Researchers want to see if using a specific type of saw during the procedure leads to a better pattern of bone breakage and healing. They will enroll 40 patients undergoing jaw surgery and use CT scans to compare the outcomes of the two techniques.
