Sticky bone graft builds jawbone with less pain

NCT ID NCT07353086

Summary

This study tested a new, less invasive way to rebuild jawbone width for people who need dental implants. Ten patients with narrow lower jawbones received a special 'sticky' bone graft material placed through a small tunnel under the gum. The goal was to see if this gentler method could successfully grow enough new bone for implants while causing less pain and faster healing.
