First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at how to better identify and treat people in jail who have both PTSD and opioid or stimulant use disorders. Researchers will test a screening program and compare starting PTSD therapy right away in jail versus after release. The goal is to see which approach helps more people start substance use treatment once they leave jail.
