Yoga probes the Brain's grief response in new study

Summary
This study looks at how Iyengar Yoga affects the brain and body in older adults with prolonged grief disorder (PGD). About 68 people aged 40 and older who have been grieving for more than 6 months will take part. Researchers will measure changes in brain activity and natural chemicals called endocannabinoids to better understand the biology of PGD.
