New drug trial targets skin cancer in HIV patients

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug ixazomib can shrink Kaposi sarcoma skin tumors. It will involve 41 adults with measurable skin lesions, including people living with HIV. Participants will take the drug orally in cycles for up to a year to see if it controls the cancer and is safe.
