First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether a drug called ixazomib, currently used for cancer, is safe for people with multiple sclerosis (MS). About 72 adults with relapsing-remitting or progressive MS will take either ixazomib capsules or a placebo for up to 24 months. Researchers will monitor side effects and check if the drug reduces certain immune markers in the spinal fluid linked to MS activity.
