Can a second drug wipe out stubborn breast cancer?

Summary

This study tests whether the drug ixabepilone can help people with HER2-negative breast cancer whose tumors didn't fully disappear after standard chemotherapy. About 116 participants will either receive ixabepilone or be observed. The goal is to see if the drug can stop cancer from coming back by blocking cell division.
