New drug trial targets stubborn breast cancer after hormone therapy fails

Summary

This study is testing whether a drug called ivonescimab can help control a specific type of advanced breast cancer that has spread and no longer responds to standard hormone treatments. It will involve about 29 adults with metastatic invasive lobular carcinoma. The main goal is to see if the drug can stop the cancer from getting worse for at least six months while monitoring safety.
