New hope for hard-to-treat colorectal cancer: immune-boosting combo enters human trials

NCT ID NCT07363408

First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests two experimental immunotherapy drugs (ivonescimab and ADG126) alone or with chemotherapy in 30 adults with advanced or metastatic microsatellite stable (MSS) colorectal cancer. The main goal is to find safe doses and check for side effects. This type of cancer is often resistant to standard immunotherapy, so researchers hope these combinations may help the immune system attack tumors more effectively.
