New IVF drug protocol aims for better embryos, fewer side effects
NCT ID NCT05873725
Summary
This completed study looked back at 118 women undergoing IVF treatment to see if using a higher dose of a specific fertility medication (follitropin delta) alongside another hormone could improve embryo quality. The research aimed to build on previous findings that personalized dosing based on a woman's weight and hormone levels could be as effective as standard treatments while reducing complications like ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. The main goal was to count how many high-quality embryos resulted from this medication approach.
