Common Anti-Parasite drug tested in new fight against stubborn warts
NCT ID NCT07396714
Summary
This early-stage study aims to see if a cream containing ivermectin, a drug used for other skin conditions, can help clear common warts. Researchers will compare the cream used alone, the cream applied after a microneedling procedure, and a standard salicylic acid treatment. About 88 people with non-genital warts will have their warts assessed every two weeks for up to three months.
