Summary
This study aims to find a safe and effective dose of the drug ivermectin to treat scabies in children under 5 years old. Researchers in Laos are measuring drug levels in the blood and checking how well the treatment works in 220 children with scabies. The goal is to provide reliable dosing guidance for young children, who are especially vulnerable to this itchy skin infection and its complications.
