Summary
This study tested whether oral ivermectin is safe and works for treating scabies in children weighing 5 to less than 15 kilograms (about 11 to 33 pounds). About 240 children with scabies received either ivermectin or a standard cream treatment. The goal is to provide a simpler, oral treatment option for this young age group.
