First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tested whether giving IV paracetamol (like Tylenol) before a total abdominal hysterectomy could lower the amount of morphine needed for pain after surgery. Forty women aged 30-50 took part. The goal was to see if this simple approach could reduce reliance on stronger painkillers and improve pain scores.
