Summary

This study tested whether giving paracetamol (acetaminophen) through a vein before a total abdominal hysterectomy could lower the amount of morphine needed after surgery. Forty women aged 30-50 took part. The researchers measured morphine use and pain scores to see if the paracetamol group did better than the placebo group.
