Do IV fluids in labor make babies lose more weight?
NCT ID NCT07243054
Summary
This study looks back at medical records to see if the amount of IV fluids a mother receives during labor is linked to how much weight her newborn loses in the first two days. It focuses on babies who are fed only formula. The goal is to better understand this common weight loss to help guide parents and medical care.
