First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at whether women who have never given birth (nulliparous) feel more pain during IUD insertion than those who have (multiparous). Researchers measured pain right after insertion and 5 minutes later using a 0-10 scale. The goal is to help doctors better prepare patients for the procedure based on their childbirth history.
