New hope for patients whose blood disorder Won't respond to standard pills

NCT ID NCT07206823

Summary

This study is testing whether combining two existing drugs can help adults with a rare blood disorder called immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) when standard oral medications have failed. All 30 participants will receive weekly infusions of one drug and weekly injections of another, with doses adjusted based on their blood platelet counts. The main goal is to see if this combination safely increases platelet levels and reduces bleeding over a year.
