First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested whether taking itopride once a day works as well as taking it three times a day for people with ongoing stomach discomfort (functional dyspepsia or chronic gastritis). Over 500 adults participated, and researchers measured changes in symptoms like bloating, fullness, and pain after 8 weeks. The goal was to see if a simpler dosing schedule could provide similar relief.
