New pill aims to boost Cancer-Killing power of advanced cell therapy
NCT ID NCT05757219
Summary
This study is testing if taking a daily pill called itacitinib for about a month before receiving a specialized cell therapy (CAR-T) can improve results for adults with an aggressive type of lymphoma. The researchers want to see if this approach helps control the cancer longer and reduces severe side effects, especially for patients who have signs of high inflammation. About 27 people with specific lab results will participate to see if adding itacitinib makes the CAR-T treatment work better.
